    Loteprednol Etabonate is an ophthalmic solution used to treat swelling (inflammation) of the eye following eye surgery. It is also used to treat inflammation/swelling caused by certain eye conditions such as uveitis, iritis, allergic conjunctivitis, herpes zoster keratitis, and so on. This medicine belongs to a class of drugs known as corticosteroids. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
